Who we are

Konkan GreenCo is a Goa-based green-solutions company and the authorised Lectrix EV dealer in Goa, with divisions in electric mobility, EV spares & batteries, solar infrastructure and facility management. Our head office is at Geras Imperium Premio, Kadamba Plateau, Panelim, Tiswadi, North Goa – 403402.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), Konkan GreenCo is the Data Fiduciary — we decide why and how your personal data is processed.

This policy covers our website konkangreenco.in, the enquiry form on it, and personal data you share with us by phone, email or in person when you enquire about, buy or service a product. By using the website or sharing your details with us, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

Data we collect

2.1 Data you give us

• Enquiry form: your name, phone number, the product or service you're interested in, and any message you choose to add.
• Sales and delivery: when you buy a vehicle, the details needed to invoice, register and insure it — such as your address, and identity and address documents where the law or a registration, insurance or financing process requires them.
• Service and spares: your vehicle details, service history and contact details, so we can handle warranty, repairs and parts orders.
• Solar and facility enquiries: the site address and basic information about the property or installation you want assessed.
• Communications: anything you tell us when you call, email, message or visit us.

2.2 Data collected automatically

• Our website does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• When a page loads, your browser requests fonts and images from third-party servers (listed in Section 05). Like any web server, those services — and our web hosting provider — receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page that made the request.

2.3 Data we do not collect

• Payment card numbers or bank credentials through the website — the site takes no payments.
• Passwords or user accounts — the site has no login.
• Personal data bought from brokers or list providers.

How we use your data

We use personal data only for the purpose you shared it for, or for purposes closely connected to it.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data only on the grounds the DPDP Act allows:

1. Consent — freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, for a stated purpose. For example, when you submit our enquiry form.
2. Legitimate use — where you voluntarily give us your data for a specific purpose, such as buying or servicing a vehicle, and have not told us you object to its use for that purpose.
3. Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with a law, a court order or a lawful request from a competent authority.

You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to konkangreenco@gmail.com or calling +91 91460 56461. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place, but we may no longer be able to help with the related request.

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only in the situations below, and only as much as each one needs.

5.1 Service providers

• Google: enquiry form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet owned by Konkan GreenCo, through a Google Apps Script web app. Google processes this data on our behalf.
• Web hosting: our hosting provider serves this website and may keep standard access logs.

5.2 Partners involved in your purchase or service

• Lectrix EV, the vehicle manufacturer — for warranty registration, service support and genuine spares.
• Banks and financing companies — only if you choose to apply for finance through us.
• Insurers and the Regional Transport Office (RTO) — for insurance and for registering vehicles that need it.

5.3 Legal requirements

We may disclose personal data if required by law, a court order or a competent authority under Indian law, including the DPDP Act and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

5.4 Business transfers

If Konkan GreenCo is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. The new owner will be required to protect it as this policy describes.

Each of these services is governed by its own privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

• Enquiries that don't lead to a purchase: up to 2 years from our last contact with you, then deleted.
• Customer and vehicle records: for as long as we provide warranty, service or lifecycle support for your vehicle or installation.
• Invoices, tax and accounting records: for the period Indian tax and accounting laws require — typically up to 8 years.
• Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent, and then only as long as needed to show we honoured it.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you. You can also ask us to erase your data sooner — see Section 08.

Security

We take reasonable security safeguards, as the DPDP Act requires, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse:

• Encryption in transit: the website and enquiry form submissions use HTTPS.
• Restricted access: enquiry data is kept in a Google account that only authorised Konkan GreenCo staff can open.
• Need-to-know handling: staff and partners see only the details needed for their part of your request.
• Breach response: if a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected people and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our practices as our business grows.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the following rights. To use them, email konkangreenco@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Rights Request", or call +91 91460 56461. We may need to verify your identity first.

Cookies

The Konkan GreenCo website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

If you click through to Instagram or Facebook, those sites set their own cookies under their own policies. If we ever add cookies or analytics to our website, we will update this section first.

Children

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, as the DPDP Act requires, and we do not track children or target advertising at them.

If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change. When we do:

• Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.

Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
